Mark Owens

Mark is a long standing associate of the Leader Factor, having worked with Liz as a coaching partner on a number of signifcant executive level programs. He also works independently in his firm, The Role Consultant Network. Mark’s insight and experience are derived from working with a diverse range of individuals and organisations (nationally and internationally). His experience spans both private and public sectors, where he has worked in executive and non-executive roles with accountability to Ministers of State.

Executive positions include General Manager (within several ACT Government agencies) Regional Manager (Right Management Consultants – now Manpower) and Diplomatic postings in two Australian Missions overseas (Europe and South America).

Mark’s current client list is clear evidence of the “trusted advisor” role he fulfils in many high profile organisations.  He is equally comfortable working on organisational reviews, change and advisory assignments, where his role is to engage stakeholders in the first steps towards the realisation of beneficial change.

Within the overall field of organisational sustainability and growth, Mark’s professional interests include operational excellence, leadership growth and transition, executive team cohesion and performance, the links between strategy, culture and performance, career development, strategies for building engagement in teams, especially during organisational change.
